ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrivel in Saariselkä
Arrival at Ivalo airport. Warm welcome by an English speaking guide. Transfer with coach and assistant to Saariselkä (30 km). Welcome drink at the hotel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Saariselkä for four nights.

Day 2: Reindeers & the Sami Culture
Buffet breakfast at the hotel. Pick up by coach for visit of the Sami Museum “Siida” in Inari with a guided tour of the museum.
From Inari, transfer to a local reindeer farm located in Urupää. In this part of Lapland reindeer farming is an important part of the local Sami. Learn about the techniques of reindeer husbandry and enjoy a ride on a reindeer-pulled sledge. In a traditional kota (Lappish tent) lunch will be served by open fire. A special atmosphere is created by local singer, dressed in traditional Lappish dress, singing traditional Lapish joika songs. NOTE: No thermal suits are included so make sure you are warm dressed. Transfer back to the hotel. Din-ner/overnight at the hotel in Saariselkä.

Day 3 and 4: Free day for optional activities
Breakfast at the hotel.
Optional activities can be booked on the spot (see the attachment).
Dinner/overnight at the hotel.

Following activities can be done:

1. Snowmobile Safari to the Fells:
   Enjoy this beautiful country. During this brisk safari you will drive around the area of Saariselkä to see all the beautiful fell scenery. You will also enjoy a coffee break by open fire in the nature. The driving dis-tance is about 20 km.
2. Snowshoe Trip to the Nature:
   Capture the silence of winter in northern woods. You will go wandering towards the fell of Kuusipää. On the way you will be walking both on the tracks and in the deep snow. You might find some tracks of rabbits, foxes, snow grouses and squirrels if you are lucky! You will have a break for photos and hot berry juice on the way.
3. Husky Safari through the Fell Area:
   You will speed through the spectacular forest- and fell area by the sledge pulled by 5-7 husky dogs. The silence around you is enormous when only thing you hear is the skis of the sledge touching the snow. On the way you will have a lunch break by open fire. After the lunch yu will return back to Saariselkä.

Day 5: Deaprture from Ivalo
Breakfast, transfer to the Ivalo airport and flight back home.
