ITINERARAY
1st day: Arrival Frankfurt
Arrival at Frankfurt. Welcome by the guide and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

2nd day: Frankfurt – Brühl – Cologne
After the breakfast we go to Brühl. We visit the castle Augustusburg, a gorgeous pleasure palace. The core of this residence is the unique stairway by Balthasar Neumann, showpiece of the rococo style. Then we go on to Cologne and see the castle Arff, a former moated castle. Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

3rd day: Cologne
After the breakfast we go on a Sightseeing tour through Cologne. You see the Cologne Cathedral with its two 157 m hight towers which is the emblem of the city. Then we go to the town hall, the Gürzenich, a festival hall in the center of the city, the city wall etc. Espeacially eye-catching are the many churches of Cologne, 12 all in all thus more than in any other German city. After lunch visitation of the Latin-Germanic museum which belongs to the foremost museums of the Latin epoch to the north of the Alps. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Cologne.

4th day: Cologne – Mönchengladbach – Düsseldorf
Frühstück. Fahrt nach Mönchengladbach, kurze Stadtrundfahrt zur Orientierung mit anschließender Besichtigung des Renaissanceschlosses Rheydt. Mittagessen in der Gaststätte in der Vorburg des Schlosses. Weiter nach Düsseldorf. Sightseeingtour und Transfer zum Hotel. Abendessen und Übernachtung.

5th day: Düsseldorf – Dorsten – Nordkirchen – Münster
Departure to Dorsten. See the former administrative district Lembeck between beautiful forests and grasslands of the natural park “Hohe Mark”. We go on to Nordkirchen and see the Baroque moated castle which lies on a small island. Departure to Münster and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.

6th day: Münster – Bielefeld
Breakfast. City tour through Münster, visitation of the Westphalian Museum of natural history. After lunch we go to Bielefeld. Short city tour for orientation, the rest of the afternoon is for your own interests. Dinner at the hotel and overnight.

7th day: Bielefeld – Detmold – Höxter – Kassel
Departure to Detmold. Visitation of the baronial residence castle which has been the domicile of the governing earls and princes zur Lippe. Then we go on to Höxter to the Corvey palace. Afer the Thirty Years’ War the cloister was rebuilt completely and possesses of an abbey, a spacious baroque complex and a regional museum. Journey to Kassel. Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight.

8th day: Kassel – Frankfurt
After the breakfast we go back to Frankfurt. Depending on the departure time you have leisure time until the transfer to the airport. Return flight.
