ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm
Arrive at Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2: Stockholm
The day starts with a 4 hour guided tour of the city. Famous sights include the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings, Royal Theatre etc. Highlight is a visit to City Hall where the Nobel Prize banquet is held each year. Afternoon free. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
Day 3: Stockholm – Helsinki
Morning free in Stockholm for exploring this beautiful city. Afternoon coach transfer to a cruise ferry of the Silja Line. Departure of cruise, sailing slowly down the picturesque Stockholm. Buffet dinner on board. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC.
Day 4: Helsinki – Stockholm
Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki. You retain your cabin on the ship. Morning 3 hours guided tour of the Finnish capital. Famous sights including the Senate Square, Uspenskij Cathedral, Parliament House etc. Afternoon free. Embarkation on the ferry for return to Stockholm. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5: Stockholm – Copenhagen
Breakfast on board. Arrive back in Stockholm. The tour continues by coach trough the pleasant countryside of Southern Sweden to Gränna. Continue through the provinces of Smaland to the city of Malmö. Dinner and accommodation in Copenhagen at the hotel.
Day 6: Copenhagen
The day starts with a 3 hours guided tour including Amalienborg Palace, Christiansborg Palace (seat of the Danish Parliament), the Little Mermaid etc. Afternoon free in Copenhagen. This evening you will be taken escort for dinner in the famous Tivoli Gardens. Accommodaton at Radisson SAS Sandinavia or SAS Royal Hotel.
Day 7: Copenhagen – Oslo
After a tasty Danish buffet breakfast, morning free in Copenhagen. Afternoon transfer by coach to DFDS Seaways terminal for overnight cruise to Oslo. Scandinavian buffet dinner. Accommodation is in 2-berth outside cabins with shower/WC.
Day 8: Oslo
Scandinavian buffet breakfast on board. After disembarkation 3 hours guided tour to see the world-famous Viking Ships, the Polar Exploration ship Fram and other sights. Afterwards birdseye view of the city and fjord far below. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Departure from Oslo
Transfer to Oslo Gardermoen Airport to coincide with individual flight departures. Fligth back home. |
