ITINERARAY
1st day: Frankfurt
Arrival at the airport. Transfer to the hotel and accommodation at the hotel in Frankfurt.
2nd day: Frankfurt – Rüdesheim – Koblenz
Journey to Rüdesheim by bus. Then we go on a trip in the river Rhine by ship to St Goarshausen. Along the bank of the river you can see old castles, for examples Gutenfels castle and Burg Katz. A special highlight on the trip is the Loreley, a legendary rock at the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Upper Middle Rhine Valley“. In St Goarshausen we leave the ship and go by bus to Koblenz. Koblenz is one of the oldest cities and lies at the Deutsches Eck (German Corner), a estuary between the river Rhine and the Moselle river. Lunch and city tour in Koblenz with the sights of the city. 3rd day: Koblenz – Winningen – Koblenz
Starting in Koblenz weg o by ship to Winningen, which is one of the most beautyful villages in Germany. Lunch in Winningen and short city tour. On the estate Richard Richter you experience a adventure wine tasting. After a round tour through the basement vault of the estate and subsequent welcome with sparkling wine you have the opportunity to try lacy wines of the Moselle River. By ship it goes back to Koblenz. Accommodation in Koblenz.
4th day: Koblenz – Heidelberg
After the breakfast to journey goes to Heidelberg. Heidelberg, where the most famous university of Germany is situated, lies direct at the bank of the river Neckar. Here we see first of all the castle, a very well known ruin and most popular emblem of the city including, among other things, the Heidelberg Tun. In the city itself you see the church in the old town. From the Philosophenweg on the other bank of the river you have a beautiful view on the old towm and the castle ruins. 5th day: Heidelberg – Munich
The next stop of our voyage is Munich, where you visit Mary’s Square, the town hall and the Viktualienmark after a short tour through the city by bus. Furthermore you see other very important sights of the capital of Bavaria. Accommodation in Munich.
6th day: Neuschwanstein
After the breakfast the journey goes on to Neuschwanstein with visitation of the castle wich lies in the Allgaeu which was commissioned by King Ludwig ll of Bavaria. Back to Munich. The rest of the day is leisure time. Accommodation in Munich.
7th day: Munich – Salzburg – Munich
Starting in Munich we leave to Salzburg, the city of Mozart. In Salzburg we visit the fort Hohensalzburg, the Mirabell Garden and the cathedral. During a city tour through the old town, which belongs completely to the UNESCO World Heritage Sites, you see many buildings which exist since the Medieval times. Transfer back to Munich. Accommodation at the hotel.
8th day: Munich – Nuremberg
Today the journey goes on to Nuremberg. There we go on a tour including sightseeing of the Town hall, Our Lady’s church and the fountain “Ehekarusell-Brunnen” near the White Tower. Furthermore we see congress hall. A special highlight is the towerofsenses, a interactiv hands-on-museum. Then we go to the hotel in Nuremberg. There accommodation.
9th day: Nuremberg – Würzburg – Frankfurt
After the breakfast we go to on to Würzburg. Here we visit the fort Marienberg and the Schönborn Chapel after a city tour. Furthermore visitation of the Würzburg residence. Then we go to Frankfurt by bus. Frankfurt is one of the richest metropolises of Europe ans Bank, Literature and Culture metropolis. Accommodation at the hotel in Frankfurt
10th day: Frankfurt
After the breakfast and depending on the departure time flight back. |
