ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Madrid
Arrival at the airport of Madrid and transfer to the hotel. Dinner at hotel.
Day 2: Madrid – Merida – Sevilla
Morning pick up at your hotel. Drive towards Extremadura, a relaxing drive via Trujillo. Time at leisure and continue on to Merida. Visit its ruins as well as its Roman amphitheatre where classic masterpieces are still performed. After lunch drive to Sevilla. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Sevilla
After breakfast city tour of Sevilla including the Cathedral (second largest in the Catholic world), the Santa Cruz Quarter a natural scenario of Carmen, the Maria Luisa Park and the Spain square. Afternoon at leisure for you to discover exclusive views, specific flavours of this active city full of light. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Sevilla – Cordoba – Granada
After breakfast leave towards Cordoba and its impressive Mosque today a Cathedral. Walk through its narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon drive through the mountain landscapes of the Sub-Betica mountains along the villages of the Caliphate Route. Late afternoon arrival in Granada. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Granada – Valencia
After breakfast join a city tour of Granada. Visit the sights: the Alhambra, the Generalife, fountains, gardens etc. In the early afternoon start driving towards the Mediterranean cost via Murcia. Continue north via Alicante. Reach Valencia capital city of the province. Accommodation in Valencia.
Day 6: Valencia – Barcelona
Morning at leisure to discover the beauty of the city. Great gastronomic rice dishes and the home of the internationally renowned Paella. Afternoon departure along the coast line via Catalunya to Barcelona. Overnight.
Day 7: Barcelona
After breakfast morning city tour of Barcelona. Drive along the main avenues with impressive buildings by Gaudy. See the Gothic Quarter, Cathedral, Generalitat Palace, the City Hall and Spanish Village. Afternoon is for you to discover the city and its exquisite and varied gastronomy. Overnight.
Day 8: Barcelona – Zaragosa – Madrid
Early departure to Zaragosa capital city of Aragon within the banks of the Ebro river. Free time to see the impressive baroque architecture of the Basilica-Temple of our Lady Pilar. Continue on via historic villages as La Almunia de Dona Godina and Calatayud, Guadalajara. Late arrival in Madrid.
Day 9: Departure of Madrid
After breakfast check-out and transfer to the airport of Madrid. Flight back home. |
