ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Paris
Arrival of the group in Paris. Warm welcome through English speaking guide and transfer with bus to the hotel in Paris. Overnight stay at the hotel for 4 nights. Dinner at hotel.
Day 2: Paris Artistique
Paris was created some 2,000 years ago and has its origin at the Ile de la Cité. With emphasis on the history and art of the capital this tour concentrates on two main visits. It includes: Eiffel Tower, a drive through the Marais district and the Latin Quarter, a guided visit to Notre Dame Cathedral and to the Louvre (Winged Victory and Mona Lisa). At the end of the Louvre visit, you have the opportunity of spending the rest of the day at the museum.
Day 3: Paris Montmartre and the Flea Market
The morning is free at leisure. In the afternoon we will visit another part of the city. Situated in the North of Paris on the top of the Montmartre hill, the Sacré-Coeur basilica overlooks the entire city. The always present artists are a constant reminder of the time when Montmartre was the heart of artistic life. A few steps from Montmartre, the famous flea market offers an entertaining and novel contrast to this tour. The rest of the day is free of leisure
Day 4: Versailles
Versailles is a reminder of the grandeur of classical French architecture. Both the extravagant decoration and the design of the entire site reflect the will of King Louis XIV, known as the Sun King. In the beautifully decorated State Apartments (Hall of Mirrors and Queen's apartments) your guide will tell you about the life of the Kings. Free time in the French style gardens surrounding the palace.
Day 5: Departure from Paris
Transfer with English speaking guide and bus to the airport of Paris. Then flight back home. |
