ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival at Malaga – Torremolinos
Arrival at the airport of Malaga. Warm welcome by an English speaking guide. Transfer to the hotel at the Costa del Sol. The rest of the day is leisure time. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel .
Day 2: Ronda - Cadiz
After breakfast trip to Ronda, an ancient town border at steep rock walls high above the valley of river Guadalevin. Visit of the church St. Maria la Mayor, the bullfighting arena and the nobility house of Don Bosco. Continuing to Candiz , a typical Andalusian village and one of the oldest inhabitant town of the iberian peninsula. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 3: Cadiz – Seville
Walkabout in Cadiz. Continuing to Jerez, the craddle of the sherry. Visit of a winery. Drive on to Sevilla, sightseing tour to many impressive places. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 4: Seville
In the morning sightseeing of the old royal castle Alcazar. This cathedral is the third largest in the world. We will see the belltower La Giralda with the 93 m high minaret. of the mosque destroyed in the 13th century, the emblem of Seville. Stroll through the picuresque old district Santa Cruz.
Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 5: Seville - Cordoba
On the way to Cordoba, stop and rondtour in Cordoba. Visit of the mosque Mezquita, was one of the second largest mosque of the earth, with 850 marble columns, which is a cathedral today.We visit the jews and arab quarter with the Synagoge. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 6: Ubeda – Baeza - Granada
After breakfast drive to Granada with stops in Ubeda and Baeza, where we do a walkabout. Granada was moorish capital for almost 500 years and is rich in glorious and historic buildings. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 7: Granada
In the morning city sightseeing tour and visit of the Alhambra with the famous lion court and the Palacio del Generalife, the former summer residence of the sultan. In the afternoon leisure time. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 8: Granada – Departure from Malaga
After breakfast, check out at the hotel and transfer to the airport in Malaga. Flight back home. |
