ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Istanbul
Arrival at Istanbul airport and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Istanbul – Ankara
Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour in Istanbul. During the visit you’ll see the Hippodrome, the Obelisk from Egypt, the fountain of Willhelm II and the Blue Mosque one of the principal adornments of the skyline of Istanbul etc. Lunch will be local. Afterwards visiting the Grand Bazaar. Transfer to the Haydarpasa train Station. Overnight on board train.
Day 3: Ankara – Cappadocia
Tour starts in the morning from the Hotel or from the airport. Visit the Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Atatürk. After lunch drive to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Cappadocia
Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymaklý and Citadel of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" and open air museum. The last sites will be Pasabag valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 5: Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale
Early departure to Konya. On the way visit the 13th century Seljukian caravanseria "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous for the Mevlana Museum and the Theological School of Whirling Dervishes. Lunch enroute, drive to Pamukkale.
Day 6: Pamukkale – Kusadasi
Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Bazilica and calcium cliffs. After lunch visit the Greco-Romen settlement. Drive to Kusadasi, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Kusadasi
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Meryemana and visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, the Roman Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian etc. After lunch visit the basilica of St. John, return to Kusadasi. Time for leisure in the afternoon. Dinner on your own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 8: Kusadasi – Canakkale
Early departure for Pergamon. After lunch visits of Asklepion and Acropolis. Continue for Troja where you’ll visit the Athena temple. Drive to Çanakkale, dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Canakkale – Istanbul
After breakfast cross the strait by ferry and drive to Istanbul along the shores of Marmara sea. Arrival in Istanbul. The evening is at leisure.
Day 10: Istanbul
After breakfast free until transfer to the airport. |
