ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Stockholm
Arrive Stockholm Arlanda Airport. Transfer to hotel in connection with your flight arrival. Meet your tour escort at your hotel. Dinner and accommodation at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel.
Day 2: Stockholm
The day starts with a 4 hour guided sightseeing tour including the Royal Palace, Parliament Buildings, Cathedral, Royal Theatre, Old Town (Gamla Stan) etc. Highlight of the tour is a visit to City Hall with its famous Blue and Golden Halls. Afternoon free. Dinner and accommodation at the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel.
Day 3: Stockholm – Helsinki
Morning free in Stockholm. Afternoon transfer from hotel to pier, for embarkation on a luxurious cruise ferry of the Silja Line. Sailing down the picturesque Stockholm. Dinner on board. Choice of restaurants, entertainment, bars, shops and casino on board. Accommodation is in 2-berth outiside cabins with shower/WC.
Day 4: Helsinki
Enjoy your buffet breakfast as you sail into Helsinki. After disembarkation 3 hours guided tour of Helsinki. Famous sights include the Uspenski Cathedral, Parliament House, Underground Temple, etc. During the afternoon you can explore the busy market place. Dinner and overnight stay at the Radisson SAS Royal Hotel.
Day 5: Helsinki – St. Petersburg
Early breakfast followed by transfer by coach from hotel to railway station. Departure from Helsinki on Finnish train “Sibelius”. Lunch box on train. Arrival in St. Petersburg. Coach transfer to hotel. Dinner at a restaurant. Accommodation at Hotel Angleterre.
Day 6: St. Petersburg
Buffet breakfast. Departure by coach for Peterhof, the magnificent summer residence of all the Russian Tsars. Guided tour ot the Summer Palace and Park. Return to St. Petersburg by hydrofoil. Lunch at Hermitage Restaurant of similar. Tour of the world-famous Hermitage Art Museum and the State Rooms of the Winter Palace. Buffet dinner and accommodation at Hotel Angleterre.
Day 7: St. Petersburg
Buffet breakfast. 3 hours panoramic tour by coach including the Admiralty, Palace Square and St. Isaac’s Catheral. Lunch at the Senate Restaurant. Afternoon at leisure for exploring St. Petersburg. In the evening Russian folklore show at the Nikolaevsky Palace. Dinner at a restaurant. Accommodation at Hotel Angleterre.
Day 8: Departure from St. Petersburg
This tour of the three most beautiful cities of the Baltic ends after breakfast, with transfers to St. Petersburg Airport in connection with your flight home. |
