ITINERARY
Day 1: Istanbul
Arrival to Istanbul and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Istanbul – Ankara
Breakfast at hotel. Full day tour in Istanbul. During the visit you’ll see the Hippodrome, the Obelisk from Egypt, the fountain of Willhelm II and the Blue Mosque one of the principal adornments of the skyline of Istanbul etc. Lunch will be local. Afterwards visiting the Grand Bazaar. Transfer to the Haydarpasa train Station. Overnight on board train.
Day 3: Ankara – Cappadocia
Tour starts in the morning from the Hotel or from the airport. Visit the Hittite Museum and Mausoleum of Atatürk. After lunch drive to Cappadocia. Dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Cappadocia
Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the underground city of Kaymaklý and Citadel of Uçhisar. After lunch continue with the valley of "Göreme" and open air museum. The last sites will be Paþabað valley and Avanos. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 5: Cappadocia – Konya – Pamukkale
Early departure to Konya. On the way visit the 13 the century Seljukian caravanseria "Sultanhan". The next stop will be Konya which is famous with Mevlana Museum and the Theological School of Whirling Dervishes. Lunch enroute, drive to Pamukkale.
Day 6: Pamukkale – Kusadasi
Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis. The ruins of the biggest Necropolis Graveyard of the ancient world, Roman Baths, Bazilica and calcium cliffs. After lunch visit the Greco-Romen settlement. Drive to Kusadasi, dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Kusadasi – Izmir – Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Meryemana and visit the House of Virgin Mary. Continue to Ephesus, the Romen Capital of Asia Minor. Visit the ruins of Odeon, Hercules Gate, the temple of Hadrian, the magnificient library, Agora and fantastic greco-roman theatre. After lunch visit the Basilica of St.John drive to Ýzmir. Transfer to the hotel or airport. Flight departs from Izmir around 7 p.m. Arrive Istanbul at 8 p.m. Transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 8: Istanbul
After breakfast free until transfer to the airport. |
