ITINERARY
Day 1: Arrival in Teheran
Flight to Teheran. and transfer to the hotel. Welcome by an English-speaking guide. Overnight stay at hotel in Teheran.
Day 2: Teheran, the Persian capital - Shiraz
Visit of the archeological museum, the Saadabad-Palast museum and the carpet museum in Teheran. In the evening flight to Schiraz. 3 overnight stays and dinner at hotel .
Day 3: Excursiot to Persepolis, Naqhs-e-Rustam - Pasargadae
Tour to the archaeological excavation Persepolis with lots of places of interest. Contiuing to Naqhs-e-Rustam the famous graves in the mountain. Continuing to the ruins of Pasargadae. Return to Shiraz. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 4: Shiraz
Full day tour in Schiraz, which is situated in a green oasis. Visit of the temple of fire, the mausoleums, the graves and the Friday mosque. Then a ramble through the bazaar of Vakil. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 5: Schiraz -Kerman
The journey leads to the wide salt desert of central asia to Sarvestan. The tour leads through fig and pomegranat grove. along the south of the Zagros mountain and the embedded tableland to Kerman. 2 overnight stays and dinner at hotel.
Day 6: Kerman and excursion to Mahan
Tour to Mahan, where we visit one of the famous dervish mausoleum of Namatollah Vali. Visit of the garden terraces of the shah. Return to Kerman. Visit of mosques and the fire temple Djabalieh. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 7: Kerman - Yazd
In the morning we start with visiting Kerman. In the afternoon we drive to Rafsanjan, the centre of the Iranian pistachios cultivation and contiuning through numerous oasis and open Kervansarays to Yazd. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 8: Yazd – Nain - Isfahan
You will visit the two zoroastrian burial tower in Yazd. Afterwards ramble through the Old Town. Continuing to Nain, founded in the 14 th century. We will visit the Friday mosque; in opposite you see a restaurate mansion. of the late safawidian era. Then we will drive on to Isfahan. 2 overnight stays and dinner at hotel.
Day 9: Isfahan
Visit of the 1600 m high levelled town. First we visit to the iman place sightseeing of the most beautiful mosque of Isfahans. Then we will see some of the very nice historic arch bridges, which are clamped over the river Zayande-Rud. In the afternoon a walkaway through the jewish quarter. and vist of Zur-Khane, translate literally:” Houe of the energy”. Overnight stay and dinner at hotel.
Day 10: Isfahan – Teheran
Visit of the Armenian quarter Djolfa. Sightseeing of the Vank cathedral. Then we visit a museum which shows lots of objects of the Armenian community life. Later on, we have time for a shopping tour through the bazaar. After dinner in a restaurant, transfer to the airport and return flight to Teheran. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11: Departure form Teheran
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport and flight back home. |
