ITINERARY
Day 1: Munich - Bregenz
Drive from Munich to Lindau. You will be welcomed by our local travel representative. Drive through Lindau and transfer to the hotel in Bregenz. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 2: Füssen – Castle of Neuschwanstein
Whole-day-trip to Füssen and its famous Castle of Neuschwanstein from Ludwig II. From here you have a fantastic view to the Alps. Drive back to Bregenz.
Day 3: Lake Constance – Church Birnau - Meersburg - Lindau
Visit of the Lake Constance, the largest lake in Germany. While walking along the lakeside you can enjoy the great landscape. Visit of the baroque church Birnau that is considered to be the most beautiful baroque church on Lake Constance. Drive to Meersburg that is very popular for its ancient castle and the new chalet. The ancient castle was, based on the Swiss chronicles, built by the Merovingian Dagobert I in the seventh century. Afterwards, we go to Lindau, the German neighbour town of Bregenz.
Day 4: Day free of leisure
Today we have the possibility to discover this region and Bregenz by your own.
In the evening you will visit the famous Bregenz Festival for seeing the opera “Tosca”.
It is the world's largest floating stage, home to fascinating productions of a traditional theatrical programme, music and theatre lovers can also enjoy a varied selection of traditional and contemporary offerings, among them top-class first-time productions bound for celebrated venues the world over.
Day 5: Lindau - Munich
After breakfast check-out, transfer to Munich airport and flight back home. |
